
Project Overview
Stuart Alexander (SA) is a successful Australian company that market and distribute leading brands such as Rosella, Mentos, Guylian and Tabasco. SA required a new website that would allow corporate staff and brand managers to post news, competitions and other updates to the site via a restricted administration area. The corporate site includes an interactive timeline showing Stuart Alexander's 120 year history, as well as a video introduction by the CEO, Garry Browne.



Consulting Approach
Link helped develop a website that positioned SA as a leader in the area of product marketing and distribution. This was the message they needed to convey to both their existing and potential client base. The message they wanted to provide to consumers was centered specifically on a brand by brand basis. To facilitate this direct communication between their brands and the website users Link established unique a series of brand subsites, such as those for Tobasco, Guylian and Rosella.
Development Solution
Each page within the SA website contains strong corporate banding. Those pages which need to communicate the branding of the products which SA market and distribute all share a simple masthead design element which links them to the SA brand. With the corporate branding established, these pages are then free to more uniquely express the identity of the actual products themselves and connect more appropriately with the consumer market.
Successful Outcome
Link Web Services has been Stuart Alexander’s supplier of choice for both website and multimedia services since 2002. Along with the corporate website Link has produced two CD-ROMs and various interactive communication tools. In late 2006 we upgraded the Content Management System supporting the site to allow the Brand Managers greater flexibility in updating their content on the website.
