ThinkUKnow

ThinkUKnow Australia has been developed by the Australian Federal Police, Microsoft Australia and the Australian Communications and Media Authority. It is an Internet safety program delivering interactive training to parents, carers and teachers through primary and secondary schools in the ACT, NSW and Victoria using a network of accredited trainers. The new website, developed and hosted by Link, incorporates a secure online registration that provides access to a number of tools and resources useful in educating young people about the risks and dangers of online and mobile technologies.

Bring It Home

Link has recently completed website design and development for Bring it Home. Providing a simple delivery service, connecting Canberrans with IKEA, Bring it Home is a unique approach to online shopping. The new, easily navigated, site explains IKEA’s product number system and directs customers to IKEA’s online product listings to make their selection, before using the secure ‘Bring it Home’ online order form. The site also includes a mailing list subscription option so customers can receive updates about scheduled IKEA trips.

With stakeholders in the United Kingdom and the United States, the UN, NGO’s and major global energy and resource companies, their website plays an integral role in connecting their clients with their mission and ethos and is a valuable tool for demonstrating not only experience but integrity. The site features a no nonsense navigation plus flash and video elements.

Rail Industry, Safety and Standards BoardLink has completed a refreshed, enhanced website for the Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB). The new site offers improved accessibility with the use of font enlarging tools, promotes user interaction, and includes a document matrix allowing users to view RISSB document activities in a simple manner in one location. Adding a login facility, the website also allows specific users to access or review draft documents.

With a new Content Management System, RISSB Staff can now easily access and manage documentation and input across the site.

Australasian Railway AssociationLink has successfully updated the Australian Railway Association (ARA) website, enhancing the user experience with a fresh new look and the introduction of Flash elements.

While migrating the existing website information and functionality, Link has also included a Content Management System that allows ARA staff to easily access and edit content.
